​AMR SIGNATURE EVENT:   Caregiving couples retreat at the historic, magical, and exclusive Jekyll Island Club Resort in Coastal Georgia.

WHO: All special needs parents, adoptive/foster parents, Wounded Warrior couples, one spouse injured/chronically ill, and those caring for their own aging parents.  If you're not sure if you are eligible, ask us. 

WHAT: Three nights of peace, sleep and friendship with  other special needs parents, adoptive parents, and caregiving  COUPLES who understand your life.   Completely casual and free-style.  No organized activities or required socializing.  Enjoy just the two of you, or come out and make some new friends.  Have a casual dinner on the river, a romantic dinner on the ocean, or a swanky dinner in the Grand Dining Room!  Do a dolphin tour, take a horse and carriage ride through the Historic District, visit the sea turtle center, lounge around at Driftwood Beach, hike or bike all over the island, or ride horses on the beach. Relax in the heated pool and roast some smores by the fire pit.  So much to do and see at a venue you will never forget.   Zero expectations of you. You don't even have to come out of your room if you don't want to :)

COST: Traditional King , Queen, and Queen/Queen rooms, plus King & QQ Deluxe Rooms (with enclosed sunporches) including the amazing breakfast buffet daily in the luxurious Grand Dining Room. just $280-$380 per night, including resort fees and taxes.  More luxurious King suites with  breakfast porches, balconies, and jetted tubs are also available at a higher rate.  

DEPOSIT: $115 *registration donation* is non-refundable and non-transferable holds your room.  All travel, other meals, and island activities are additional. Final payment due October 15th, 2024.
