The end goal of A Mother's Rest is to create a healthier, stronger, more balanced and stable home environment for every caregiving family.   By providing frequent, affordable wellness retreats, where parents & caregivers find true recuperative rest and therapeutic fellowship, AMR strengthens families in many critical ways.

We know how hard it is for even one parent to get away.  But the strength of a marriage can really make or break the whole family's health.  By coordinating truly affordable getaways for parents, in magical places they likely could never afford to go on their own, and in the company of other special needs parents, we empower them to keep their connection strong and positive in what is often a very stressful environment.

We put a lot of effort in to finding Porch Partners whose inns are really conducive for Couples Retreats:  King beds, private baths, and plenty of activities to enjoy together in the area.
